First round of border: 1) You will start with a slip stitch around your hook as normal. 2) Insert your hook through a gap between two of your squares as pictured. It doesn't matter where you choose to start. Sc in this gap. 3) Ch 2 and sc in the next gap between squares. Continue to ch 2 and sc in each gap across until you reach a corner. 4) In the corner, you will sc, ch 3, sc, all in the corner st. Continue in this manner until you've gone all the way around. 5) Join with sl st to first sc.

4) In the corner, you will sc, ch 3, sc, all in the corner st. Continue in this manner until you've gone all the way around.

5) Join with sl st to first sc.

Second round of border:1) Join with a sl st in any sc. Ch 3. 2) Work 2 dc in the ch 2 space from previous

round.

3) Dc in next sc, 2 dc in next ch 2 space. Continue until you reach your first corner.

4) When you reach the corner, you will work 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc.

Continue working in pattern until you reach your final ch 2 space.5) Sl st in top of ch 3.

When I got to the corner, I worked 10 tr to turn the corner and continued working around. There are countless other edgings you can add, just do a simple search for crochet edgings and go where your imagination takes you. :)
