Wordle is a website that allows teachers and students to create a word cloud of different words. Teachers can create Worde’s for students to help with their schoolwork, such as matching activities. With wordle you can help the students with matching or as a reference with their work. Step 1: Open up your Internet browser. After you open your browser you will need to type http://www.wordle.net in the address bar at the top of your screen and hit enter. Step 2: After you have arrived at the desired website, you will need to click on create at the top of the page. Step 3: After the next page loads you will see a text box that says, “Paste in a bunch or text” or the bottom text box you can “Enter the URL of any blog, blog feed, or any other web page that has an Atom or RSS feed”. For example, if you were going to create a Worlde that would contained on all 50 States and their capitals, this is how it should look.

Step 2: After you have arrived at the desired website, you will need to click on create at the top of the page.

Step 3: After the next page loads you will see a text box that says, “Paste in a bunch or text” or the bottom text box you can “Enter the URL of any blog, blog feed, or any other web page that has an Atom or RSS feed”. For example, if you were going to create a Worlde that would contained on all 50 States and their capitals, this is how it should look.

Step 4: After you have entered the text or URL that you want to create. At the bottom of each text box there is a submit button or a go button. Click on either one to view your creation.

Step 5: Once you have created your word cloud at the top of the page there are option where you can change the layout, color, font, language, and edit. You can change the word cloud to whatever you want it be color and all.

Step 6: Now that you have created your word cloud and have edited it the way you wanted. At the bottom of the box you have the option to open the word cloud in another window, print it, or save it. You choose whichever one you would like.

Step 7: You have now created your own word cloud! I hope you enjoyed it!
