Video ConferenceYou can use your PC camera for video conferences over the internet. The drivers on the installation CD are compatible with most common instant-messenger programs.

Still ImagesYour PC camera can capture still images that you can save on your computer’s hard drive.

Video CaptureYour PC camera includes software to record videos directly to your computer’s hard drive.1. Open VideoImpression 2. The

ACRSOFT VIDEOIMPRESSION screen appears and the PC camera’s LED lights.

2. Click Create a New Video, then click Capture From Device.

3. Adjust the camera for best picture quality. To adjust the color or contrast click Settings.

4. Click to start recording and to stop. The PC camera records in AVI format.

• If your camera does not work properly, restart your computer.

Step 1: Install DriverTurn on your computer and insert the CD. When the CIF PC CAMERA screen appears, select the desired driver button for your operating system and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: For Window Vista™ Users: During installation, a User Account Control message may ask you to cancel or allow program authorization of the PC camera software. Select the Allow option, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 2: Install VideoImpression 2Reload the installation CD. When the CIF PC CAMERA screen appears, click ArcSoft VideoImpression and follow the on-screen instructions. When complete, a VideoImpression 2 icon appears on your computer desktop.

Step 3: Connect to Your PCPlug the PC camera into the computer’s USB port. If the Found New Hardware Wizard appears, follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

For Windows Vista: When Found New Hardware screen displays, click Locate and install driver software. When Windows needs your permission to continue appears, click Continue to complete the installation.If the camera does not function and Windows does not detect the camera, refer to your Windows documentation for troubleshooting instructions.

Capture Button Press to capture still images. To learn more about editing tools, refer to VideoImpression’s online help.

Focus Ring Rotate the edge of the focus ring to adjust the focus.

LED Lights when the camera is on.

Headset1. Plug the headset’s green plug to the computer’s earphone

jack, and the pink plug to the computer’s microphone jack.

2. Rotate the ear hook and place the headset over your ear. Adjust the microphone boom close to your mouse.

3. Set the computer’s volume to the lowest setting before you begin listening. After you begin listening, adjust the volume to a comfortable level.

Multi-directional Base Place the camera on top of your monitor or on any level surface. Adjust the multi-directional base for the best view.
