What a great meeting we had last month at theGwinnett Community Bank and that includesJohn Martin's presentation as the speaker ofthe night. Please extend our appreciation tothis pillar of our community for hosting thismeeting. Before the membership meeting,your board made a tough decision in selectingthe recipient of next years Spring Benefit. Fivepresentations were made to the board but inthe end the board took a bold step andselected two recipients, The Rainbow Village

and the Duluth Cooperative Ministry. A lotof volunteers will be needed, so please join inthe tradition of a successful occasion.

Well its October, so the next meeting must beat the Atlanta Flooring and Design Center

located on Buford Highway, just one blocksouth of McGinnis Ferry. So for all your needsfor this meeting, please go our super website atwww.duluthmerchants.com. This includesdirections and a great picture of the building tolook for.

Looking ahead to November, we will be theguests of the Duluth Historical Society.

GPCID WelcomesMedical BusinessService Inc. ToGwinnett CenterMBS Inc. provides patient billingservices for hospital-based physicians

The Gwinnett PlaceCommunityImprovement District(CID) welcomes theannounced arrival ofMedical Business

Service Inc. (MBS) tooffices in the GwinnettPlace area.

Kaufman Realty Group (KRG) recentlysigned a lease with MBS to occupy20,000 square feet at the Gwinnett

Center complex – 3505 KogerBoulevard off Pleasant Hill Road.

Florida-based MBS is a leadingprovider of patient billing servicesfor hospital-based physicians.Establishing offices in Gwinnett Placeis expected to produce more than 80new jobs.

“The decision of MBS to locate toGwinnett Place is a strong indicator ofhow well our area supports a widevariety of employers,” said Joe Allen,executive director of the GwinnettPlace CID. “Efforts to attract qualitybusinesses like MBS continue to yieldresults, and we welcome them to thecounty’s central business district.”

The MBS announcementcomes on news of NCR’s

plans to occupy theSatellite Place 700

building off SatelliteBoulevard nearGwinnett Place Mall.

On a routine basis, theCID works in conjunction

with the PartnershipGwinnett economic

development initiative, real estateprofessionals, chambers ofcommerce and others to highlight

available properties and resources

in greater Gwinnett Place.

Kaufman Realty Group is an activemember of the CID, and the CID’sstaff has worked closely with it toattract interest to its property andother Gwinnett Place locations.
