Nestled within the beauty of the Chintsa Valley, on the southern banks of theChintsa River, Olivewood Private Estate and Golf Club is located a mere 30 minutesfrom East London.

Venue

A picturesque back drop of our 18-hole golf course, is the perfect area to host your pre-reception canapes and drinks. While your guests are basking in the South African sunshine, the short walk onto the golf course is a delightful location for any memorable wedding photographs.

Our elegant Rosewood Venue catering for up to 200 guests, is the perfect setting forany wedding and can be adapted to suit your requirements and style. �is light, airy and spacious venue is renowned for its modern and luxurious feel, from the hanging chandeliers to the wooden �ooring. �e Rosewood bar is easily accessible from within the venue.

�e use of the Rosewood venue is subject to availability.Peak Season: 01 December 2021 to 09 January 2022 Premium rates will be applicable.

�ere are 3 Churches available in the area: Crossways Christian Fellowship, Chintsa East and Glen Eden which you would need to contact directly for arrangements. Alternatively, you could pair your wedding reception with a lovely garden ceremony at Olivewood Private Estate and Golf Club and are welcome to utilise the garden area next to the reception venue. �e lawn area is not under cover, should you wish to hire a tent, this needs to be sourced by your wedding planner.

�e wooden cross back chairs can be used for the ceremony and reception. Alternatively, you may hire in chairs for the ceremony from your décor supplier.

Olivewood’s Restaurant is a popular dining experience which believes in the modest treatment of fresh and high-quality local ingredients. Our Michelin Star trained chef prides himself in developing innovative dishes. In the event that you wish to tailor make the event menu selection, we will gladly adapt the menu to your needs. Please be advised that under no circumstances can any food, excluding the traditional wedding cake, be brought onto the estate.

�ere is a minimum spend of R400 per head on food. Children are welcome at Olivewood Private Estate and Golf Club; we have menu options available. All menus need to be �nalised 21 days before the wedding date.

Special meal requirements: (Halaal, Vegetarian, Vegan or Kosher) Unfortunately, we do not cater strictly Halaal or Kosher. Strictly Halaal or Kosher meals can be arranged. Surcharge applicable.

Olivewood Private Estate and Golf Club is fully licenced, with a comprehensive beverage list, should you wish to bring in your own Champagne or wine, please be advised that a corkage fee per bottle will be applicable. R60 per bottle of wine, sparkling wine or MCC and R120 per bottle of Champagne or Prosecco.

We can also provide welcome drinks, pre-reception drinks, cocktails, gin bars and rum bars to give your day that extra special twist.

A 10% service charge will be levied on to your total food bill as well as on the �nal bar tab.

Food & Beverage

AccommodationOur brand-new boutique hotel set amongst thousands of indigenous trees with habitu-ated wildlife and migratory birds, boasts 24 beautifully well-appointed double or twin rooms within walking distance from the venue, o�ering the bridal couple and guests’ peace of mind to enjoy the festivities and make the most of their time together.

Booking ProcessShould you be interested in securing our wedding venue, please email your enquiry form to events@olivewoodestate.com. Once the enquiry form has been received, we will con�rm if your event date is available.

You will be provided with a contract to be completed, signed and returned to the events@olivewoodestate.com email address. If not returned within 48 hours, your requested date will no longer be reserved.

Once the contract has been received by us, a proforma invoice for your venue hire will be emailed to you. You will have 7 (seven) days from date of proforma to make the payment. All prices are subject to change until payment has been received. Once payment has been made, your booking will be con�rmed in writing and your planning process can begin.

If payment has not been received within the 7 (seven) days from the proforma date, the wedding date will no longer be reserved.
