Site and Ceremony Options Basils Farm is the perfect location for those looking for a venue with a

difference. A photographers dream in an exceptional setting, ensuring your wedding is a truly memorable day.

Wedding Ceremonies

• Choose exclusive use of Basils Farm, using the gardens for your ceremony

• Non exclusive use options include the floating island or the front vineyard

• Inclement weather options include the Pavilion, Farmhouse or rustic farm shelter

• Ceremonies can be held from 3pm

• Includes the use of 2 wine barrels, singing table and 20 chairs

• Storage of arbours, flowers and decorations for up to 3 days

Basils Pavilion

• A permanent building adjoining the Farmhouse

• Cater up to 100 guests seated or 120 guests for stand up cocktail (walk and fork)

• Fully enclosable, with lighting, heaters, speakers and green wall

Basils Farmhouse

• Rustic café style, that can be utilized as a dancefloor and walk up bar area

Site Exclusivity

• 5pm to 11pm Friday and Saturday *

• 5pm to 10pm Monday, Thursday and Sunday *

• 10am to 10om Tuesday and Wednesday

*Non exclusive available for use all other times

One red and one white, plus Sparkling and Rose to be served to your guests

Terms and Conditions Confirmation and Payment To make a booking, please sign the Reservation form and make arrangements to pay the deposit. Payments:

• $2,000 deposit required ($1,000 towards your wedding, $1,000 held as a bond to be repaid 5 days after your wedding.)

• 90 days prior to wedding: A further $50 per person, second deposit. An invoice will be sent • 14 days prior to wedding: Final guest numbers and dietary requirements to be confirmed. An invoice for

final payment will be sent • 7 days prior: Final payment to be paid

Bond The $1,000 bond will be refunded within 5 days following your wedding, All damages and agreed excess set up charges will be deducted Food and Cakes Due to Victorian Food Safety laws, Basils Farm requests that cakes are professionally prepared by Licensed Food Retailers or a Registered Food Business. We do not accept self-catering or external caterers at Basils Farm Event Stylists Florists and stylists are requested to finish setting up at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of your event. Please advise us of the contact details of your chosen stylists. Due to liability issues, all signs and extra lighting will be set up by Basils Farm team. Any excessive set up will be charged at an hourly rate of $50 per staff member. Excess charges will be discussed and agreed to before the set up by the Manager. Confetti, Rice and Flowers We kindly request that your guests refrain from using confetti whilst on the Basils Farm grounds. Rose petals are acceptable Music Out of respect for our nearby neighbours and local noise restrictions, we request that loud bands are not booked. Guests are required to bring their own portable sound systems with them and set up. Basils Farm can assist in hiring equipment on request. BYO No BYO alcohol, food or beverages are to be brought onto the premises (excluding the wedding cake) Responsible Serving of Alcohol Basils Farm follows the National Alcohol Beverage Industries Council guidelines on the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Staff members are instructed not to serve alcoholic beverages to guests under the age of 18 years, or to guests perceived to be in a state of intoxication. Limits apply depending on package chosen, at the discretion on the day by the Manager. Responsibility Basils Farm does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of any customers property left on the premises. Organisers are financially responsible for any damages sustained to Basils Farm property, gardens, fittings or equipment. Damages will be deducted from your bond and an itemized account will be sent out. Prices All prices quoted are inclusive of GST. Prices are correct at the time of printing. Refunds We regret that in the event of a cancellation, deposits paid are non-transferable and non-refundable. All cancellations of confirmed bookings must be made in writing to Basils Farm Smoking We are a non-smoking venue. Ashtrays will be made available in the carpark for your guests.
