It’s time to shirk off the cold and warm
up by cheering, shouting and booing your
way through this festive production.
This year we will transport you to
Sherwood Forest, where Robin and his
merry men (hooray!) will try to see off the
nasty Sheriff of Nottingham (Boooo!!!!!).
Although every director will say this has
been a team effort, they really mean it.
The cast, crew, builders, costume makers,
techies and production team have been
hard at work on this production for
longer than many of you will believe. I
hope that we will exceed your
expectations from this small
local group and I would like
to thank all of the cast, crew
and production team for their efforts this
year.
As a parting note — if you see a bear in
the woods, best leave it well alone, chances
are it would not be as friendly as our
bear!
Tom Forbes (Director)
We have had another busy year at the
club, with the summer show double bill of
the hilarious ‘The Fat Lady Sings’ and
‘Simply Sex Factor on ice in Little
Grimley’ completing the quartet of Little
Grimley Plays.
This year is a very special year for the club
as it’s our 25th annual pantomime, and
we’ve gone back to our roots and dusted
off our very first panto ‘Robin Hood and
the Babes in the Wood’. Hopefully there
have been some improvements since the
last time around, and with our new
lighting and sound systems it promises to
be a magical show.
We are pleased to announce that the
summer show next year will have a lot of
ghostly goings on, in Noël Coward’s
comedy, ‘Blithe Spirit’. Keep an eye out
on the website for audition dates. We are
very lucky to have such a talented cast and
crew, if you fancy treading the boards, or
have a talent for costume making, painting
or are interested in working behind the
scenes, please contact us via Facebook or
on the website.
