GENERAL INFORMATION Concert Gates Concert Area Gates open each day at NOON. Your ticket is exchanged for a wristband when you arrive, which allows you in and out of the concert grounds whenever you like. Have an I.D. ready. Wristbands are used to identify adult and minor Jammers. No bottles, cans, coolers, video cameras, beverages of any kind or umbrellas may be brought into the concert area. You will be asked to open bags for inspection.

Camping Check In All campers must check in by 10:00 pm each day starting Wednesday. Campgrounds entry after 10:00 PM must have camping wrist band & vehicle permit to enter. Early camping is open from Noon to 9:00 PM on Tuesday - you may upgrade your 4-Day Camping Pass to a 5-Day Camping pass at the gate if you want to come a day early.

SHUTTLE BUSES & PARKING Shuttle Buses Need some help paying for gas to get to the Jam? Park for free at Northern Lights Casino this year! Then ride the FREE shuttle service provided by Moondance Jam to the Jam gates and back. Money saving coupons also included with casino parking. The Jam Shuttles will pick up at the Northern Lights Casino parking lot's Moondance Jam designated parking area. The casino is 2 1/2 miles west of Moondance Jam at the intersection of HWY 200 and 371 (look for the signs or check the maps). Shuttle buses drop off and pick up on the west side of the Jam Fairgrounds at the "Shuttles Only" Gates (see maps). Parking Moondance Jam has a ten-acre parking lot on site. Parking is $15/day at the event or $10/day if purchased in advance for all four days. (Only one motorized vehicle allowed per campsite.) Motorcycle Parking is $5/day and located at the East Gate.

SPECIAL NEEDS ACCESSIBILITY Accessible Parking Day parking is available on the East Side of the concert area next to the Vendors Oasis gate. You must have a state-issued ACCESSIBLE permit to park. From the parking lot, use the East Gate entrance near the Vendors Oasis to access the concert area. There is no charge for parking.

Going Through The Gates If you or an escort need assistance, security persons and gate personnel are on-hand to help you.

Accessible Camping Accessible camping is available. You must have a state-issued ACCESSIBLE permit to camp. Every effort will be made to provide specific camping for people with special needs on a case-by-case basis. Please call ahead to order camping and also let us know about any special requirements that you may need.

THINGS TO BRING You may want to bring lawn chairs but lounge chairs are prohibited. Please, No seat markers like flags, balloons or similar that may obstruct the view of the crowd sitting behind you. The music area is cleared of chairs each night. Everyone's safety and enjoyment of the event is of the utmost importance. Please read the following rules so everyone can enjoy Moondance Jam.

GENERAL RULES

1. Pets are not allowed in the concert area or in the campgrounds. Please leave your pets at home.

2. No food, beverages, or coolers, no glass, umbrellas or video cameras allowed in the concert area.

3. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 CAN CONSUME ALCOHOL ANYWHERE ON THE MOONDANCE JAM SITE, INCLUDING THE CAMPGROUNDS. ZERO TOLERANCE ON UNDERAGE DRINKING. In order to purchase alcohol at Moondance Jam you must show a photo identification to get an "over 21" wristband, which must be worn at all times. You must produce identification if anyone on the Moondance Jam staff requests to see it during the weekend, and will forfeit your "over 21" wristband and be removed from the premises if you cannot do so.

4. No weapons, fireworks, golf carts, all terrain vehicles (ATV), or cruising on motorcycles and vehicles, in the concert area or campgrounds.

5. Moondance Jam, is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets, personal injury, theft, loss, or damage to personal property.

6. Persons engaging in violent, obscene or unruly behavior will be immediately ejected from the concert site, campgrounds, or parking lots, and may be subject to arrest. No refunds will be given for tickets or camping permits.

7. Security provided by Cass County Law Enforcement Officers. Please treat them with respect.

8. No seat markers like flags, balloons or similar that may obstruct the view of the crowd sitting behind you.

9. Absolutely NO GUNS allowed on the property with or without a permit.

10. Moondance Jam is not designed for young children to attend. Parents are discouraged from bringing young children to this event.

RAIN OR SHINE In the event of inclement weather the show will be interrupted, and resume again as soon as weather permits. Tickets are sold on a "rain or shine" basis, and no refunds will be given for delays or cancellations due to bad weather.

SMOKING LAW The Minnesota smoking ban applies to all enclosed buildings, including buildings like the Moondance Saloon with garage doors open. The "theater" loophole does not apply - even if you are already in costume. The Lazy Moon screened in deck will be the only place connected to a building where it will be allowed. Tented areas like VIP, as long as they are not enclosed will be alright also. But even in those areas where smoking is allowed, please be respectful to the people around you whenever possible and discard your cigarette butts in the appropriate places, not on the ground.

N CAMPING INFORMATION

Camping is a major part of the Moondance Jam experience. All campgrounds are clean and well lit with twenty-four hour security provided by the Cass County Sheriff and Moondance Jam security staff. Moondance also provides twenty-four hour medical service, daily trash and recycling collection, portable restroom facilities are cleaned daily, freshwater service, RV water filling and pumping services and we provide free shower services from the Maui Shower Company for all campers. Reserved Campgrounds Reserved camping allows people to choose their individually numbered campsite in the North Reserved, South Reserved, South Wooded Reserved, North Wooded Reserved or South Reserved Electrical campgrounds. Reserved camping allows for groups that camp together to arrive at different times. Many people also take advantage of our "Reclaim Your Campsite" offer to keep their same reserved campsite each year. If you plan on camping, especially with a group, please reserve your campsites early by calling 1-877-MOONJAM!

Port-able John Rental Rent your own personal Port-able John for your campsite again this year! $100 gets you a Port-able John for 4 or 5 day camping with daily service. . Call 218-751-9453 for more information. General Campgounds All campers planning to use the General Campgrounds, traveling in separate vehicles should plan to arrive together. As vehicles enter the General Campgrounds, they are guided to the next available campsite and there is no way to "save" a General campsite. General camping can be purchased online, by phone or at the gate. To camp in General Camping you must be at least 18 years old and have a photo I.D. on you at all times - NO EXCEPTIONS. WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON UNDERAGE DRINKING.

CAMPING RULES 1. To camp in Reserved Camping, you must be at least 18 years

old, or accompanied by a parent/guardian and have a photo ID on you at all times. To camp in General Camping you must be at least 18 years old and have a photo ID on you at all times - NO EXCEPTIONS. Moondance Jam is not designed for young children to attend. Parents are discouraged from bringing young children to this event.

2. Excessive noise is never allowed in any campground. ALL GENERATORS MUST BE SHUT OFF BY 2:00 AM - NO EXCEPTIONS. Noise curfew in Reserved campgrounds is 2:00 AM. Noise curfew in General campgrounds is 2:30 AM.

3. Everyone arriving in a vehicle to camp at the site must have a Four-Day Pass, or purchase one at the gate when they arrive.

4. Upon arrival, Four-Day Passes will be exchanged for camping wristbands, which allows you to enter the campgrounds throughout the weekend. ONLY PEOPLE WITH CAMPING WRISTBANDS ARE ALLOWED IN CAMPGROUNDS.

5. BRING I.D. - Wristbands are used to identify adult and minor patrons. YOU WILL NEED YOUR I.D. TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL. HAVE IT ON YOU AT ALL TIMES. ZERO TOLERANCE ON UNDERAGE DRINKING.

6. PEOPLE WHO WANT TO CAMP TOGETHER IN ONE OF OUR GENERAL CAMPGROUNDS SHOULD ARRIVE TOGETHER. CAMPING UNITS ARE PARKED IN THE NEXT AVAILABLE SPACE, AND CAMPSITES CANNOT BE "SAVED" FOR LATE ARRIVALS.

7. You must arrive with your camping vehicle. Rental units cannot be "dropped off". ONLY ONE MOTORIZED VEHICLE PER CAMPSITE.

8. No open fires in the campgrounds are allowed with the exception of those in a self-contained ring.

9. No golf carts or all terrain vehicles (ATV's) are allowed on the site. If you bring one, it will be corralled for the weekend and you can pick it up when you leave.

10. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUNDS OR IN THE CONCERT AREA. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUND OR CONCERT AREA IF YOU BRING YOUR PET.

11. No kegs, beer bongs, drugs, weapons, Ryder type vans allowed in campgrounds.

12. No beverages in glass containers may be brought into the campgrounds.

13. All campers must check in by 10:00 pm each day. Campgrounds entry after 10:00pm must have camping wrist band & vehicle permit to enter.

14. Absolutely NO GUNS allowed on the property with or without a permit.

CAMPING CONTEST THEME Build a Sizzlin’ Hot Campsite and if it is the hottest in your campground, you will win tickets the Moondance Jam 18! What is a Sizzlin' Hot campsite? That is up to your interpretation. Beaches, BBQs, and Chili Peppers are hot, but we are pretty sure you have some other sizzlin' hot ideas. We see some pretty amazing campsites every year. JUDGING (Campsites need to be registered online to be sure that they are found by judges.) • Judging is based on the quality and originality of the campsite. Judging is completely subjective.

• There is a registration form at www.moondancejam.com. Please fill it out and submit the form to make sure we can find your site.

• We will have preliminary judges checking ALL campsites on Thursday late morning and afternoon. The preliminary judges will decide the top campsites from each campground area and record their locations for the finals. If no one is at your site, but most of your decorations are up, we will notice and either stop back later or leave a note if you make the finals, so that you can be prepared. We cannot guarantee times that we will be around because of the size of the area and number of campsites we have to cover in the preliminaries.

• Your hosts, Bill & Kathy, along with the finalist judging crew will hit the trails on Friday from approximately 11am - 3pm to judge the finals.

WINNERS There will be six winning campsites this year. One site from each North Reserved, North Wooded Reserved, South Reserved, South Wooded Reserved, South Reserved Electrical and General campsites. There will also be one Grand Champion chosen from the winning campsites. The winning campsites will be notified and then announced on stage.
