BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS SEEKING MALE MENTORS Big Brothers Big Sisters is the largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network. Their mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever by helping

them achieve success in life. The agency has a constant need for more male mentors. For every 100 women that apply to become mentors, only one man applies. Big Brothers Big Sisters has a goal to recruit 100 male mentors in 100 days to change the lives of the many young boys that remain on the waiting list. How it works: Mentors will be matched with a child based upon similar interests and expressed preferences. You will then be able to spend 4 hours per month doing things together you both enjoy. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ professionals are available to provide you with training, activity ideas, guidance, and more! The only volunteer requirements are to complete an enrollment process which includes in-person interview, background check, references, and the 12 months commitment to the program. There are different programs offered such as the Community-Based program and the Enhanced School-Based program. Visit www.bigbendmentoring.org to fill out an application and learn more! Email [email protected] or call (850) 386-6002 if you have any questions. Help make an impact and inspire a child to dream big!
