Today for technology we will be practising typing words using the keyboard and creating
a table on Google Docs.
Watch creating a table video to help you with this task.
In your table I would like you to write the days of the week and then number them
underneath. Please change the colour of the days once you have finished. I have created
an example for you to have a look at.

● Do the words appear in the title, address (URL), or directly next to each other?
● Are the words in a quality website, or a low quality website?
● What is the page's page rank? (How far down is it from the first search result?)

the school grounds and the different types of plants. I have taken some photos of the
plants on the school grounds to help you with today's lesson. Please scroll down to
Technology: School ground plants to look at the photos that I’ve taken.
Have a look at the photos and answer the Science Questions
Look at the habitat fact cards resource that has been uploaded with this week's
timetable. Read through the fact cards, choose three cards and take photos around your
home that match the cards and upload it. If you cannot leave the house choose some of
the photos that I have taken of the school grounds and see if you can match it to your 3
chosen cards.

Today we are learning how to write citations for websites when researching. We will look
at plagiarism, sources and bibliographies. Open site to cite powerpoint, go through and
read each slide. Once you have finished, answer sites to cite questions.

Design and make- plant sustainability and growth project
Recapping from last week's lesson we looked at the impacts of drought.
Today we will be designing and creating a sustainable water source to protect plants in
times of drought. The idea of this device is to be used in a third world country.
Here are some things you may want to think about when designing your device.
● What plants would be suitable for this experiment?
● Which plants would grow well in dry areas
● These plants need to be fast growing, food related plants that can be grown in the
classroom/ home.
Do some research and find two plants that would be suitable for this experiment.
Look at the science questions and answer them.
Once you have selected your chosen plants I will collect them and create a quiz for the
class to vote for which plant they would like to
