Information: Staff St. Patrick School is excited to welcome back our returning staff members, and to introduce you to those new to our team! The teachers, in collaboration with our Diverse Learning Team and Administration continue to make moves that will be in the best interest of the greater school community. As such, class lists will not be available until the first day of school, and we ask that parents and students honor those classes. If you have a concern about a class placement, we request that you allow your child to experience the class for at least three weeks, knowing that changes will not be entertained during this time. First Day of Classes The first day of classes for Grade 1-6 will be on September 5th. If the weather permits, the class lists will be posted on the walls of the school, and teachers will be available starting at 8:40 am to meet students and parents as they arrive. If there is inclement weather, the process will move into the building, with directions being communicated by staff that morning. The first day of classes, students should come prepared with appropriate school supplies.

September 4-15 Good afternoon St. Patrick Families! We have come to the last long weekend before school starts back on September 5th. The staff have been hard at work over the summer preparing for this first week. We are so excited to see all your smiling faces as you return and join us for another year of education. We have many new families to our building, and we would like to extend a welcome to them as well. We know that the staff in our school will do an amazing job taking care of and educating all of our students through the 2017/18 year.

Other Items of Interest

Parking Please remember that the parking lot is designated for staff and district personnel. We ask that parents respect that and not use the parking lot as a drop off or pickup point in the mornings, at lunch, or at the end of the day. Supervision Our first bell rings at 8:55 am in the morning for students to enter the building. Prior to this, supervision starts at 8:40 am. Please ensure that your children come to school after 8:40 am as there will be no assigned supervision prior to this. There is only brief supervision at the end of the day as well, so please have a solid plan to pick up your child at the end of the day. Breakfast Program Our Breakfast Program will begin on September 6th. Any students who require cereal or a light snack can join us at 8:40 am in the gym. We ask that students wanting to come for breakfast line up outside the doors adjacent to the parking lot as they will not be let in the building prior. School Supply Lists School supplies can be purchased as a package through Staples. The supply lists are available on our website (here) if you have not purchased supplies yet. Please plan to have your child dressed appropriately to go outside until the weather drops below -20 degrees. Before and After School/Kindercare Due to low enrollment numbers,Before and After School Care, as well as Kindercare will not be available to families. This was organized and run by an external company last year, not by St. Patrick School
