- opened the 3 December 2014 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and welcomed all the Visiting Rotarians, Visitors and RCBS members.

- noted the apologies from Rtns. HM Daniel, HM Mary, Sally, Jérôme, Lucy, IPP Raphaël, Manfred, Giorgio, Indy, Peter L., Patrizia, Alex, Pamela, Udo, Dr. Juergen, Samia, Jorg, John vG, and Diana. - thanked the following RCBS members for inviting some Guests to the meeting:

- exchanged club banners with Rtn. Christophe Vaudou from the RC of Villeneuve les Avignon, France.

- thanked Rtn. Manfred for donating IDR 400,000 to the Club’s Elementary School Library Project. This donation came from the sale of his book entitled ‘Ethnic Jewellery from Indonesia.’ - thanked Rtn. Jérôme for generously donating IDR 3.7 million to the Club’s Helen E. Newman Student Scholarship fund. Rtn. Jérôme sends his apologies for his long absence. Hopefully we will see more of him in the new year. - thanked PP Anita for putting together a ‘100 Years of Rotary’ booklet for the members. - announced that the RCBS’s annual Christmas Dinner will be held at the Jemme Restaurant, Seminyak on Friday, 12 December 2014 – starting at 18:30. The price per person is IDR 350,000. Please RSVP P Doris by Monday, 8 December 2014 – as seating is limited. - told the Club that the RC of Bali Nusa Dua would be having their Annual Christmas Dinner at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel on Thursday, 11 December. The price for the dinner is IDR 275,000 per pax and includes free-flow water, beer and local house wine. Please contact Rtn. Ian Cameron to make a reservation <[email protected]> - informed the members that the RC of Bali Ubud Sunset would be having their 2nd Annual Holiday Celebration and Benefit Dinner at Maya Resort & Spa on Sunday, 14 December. Global Grant (Cleft and Craniofacial Care for Eastern Indonesia – US$ 199,500) Sec. CP T. Patrick van Kampen Objectives: 1. Provide 204 cleft/craniofacial operations (17 operations x 12

months) to people from East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia

2. Support the development of craniofacial healthcare facilities in Bali

3. Assist with the development of local public health infrastructure

4. Establish communications and logistics pathways for people from remote communities

5. Reduce the mortality of babies born with cleft by providing surgery at the optimum time

6. Assist with development at a local level

Global Grant (Educate a Village - US$ 33,000) PP Robin M. Dougherty

Objectives:

1. Educate 100 children from Year 10 to Year 12 2. Provide the educational and additional

studies to provide children with a High School Graduation

3. Provide the necessary education to fine them a secure future in tertiary education or position in the local community or further afield

Achievements: 1. Updated the Club‘s Media Database 2. Placed Articles in Magazines and Newspapers 3. Published Articles on the Club Web site 4. Advertised our Club in the Media 5.
