This book was put together because I was tired of having to print my own pages and wanted an attractive and inviting homeschool planner - one that I wanted to use. One that didn’t com-pletely overwhelm me with it’s size. I’ve included some sample pages to show how I personally use the planner with our Galloping the Globe curriculum. This style helps me visualize how we are spending our time and also keep track of those “extra” things that we do: field trips, com-puter time, books we read together, etc. Some subjects we cover each day (math, reading, writ-ing, Bible) and others we do once or twice a week (science, geography, art, cooking, etc.).

In the front of the planner I created sections to keep track of important information: testing results, state laws, and our local school information. There are also 12 blank calendars to plan our school year month-by-month. At the back of the planner I have space to write notes and document important things, plan my curriculum for the year, evaluate how each child is doing, and keep track of the various contacts that I make throughout the year (for field trips, co-ops, etc.). I hope that this planner is helpful to you and that you enjoy using it!
