Bharti Airtel would sell telecom towers of its
African operations to Bharti Infratel.
It is a step to raise cash and replicate the
outsourced business model of India.
Deal expected to be sealed for Rs 12000 - 15000
by December 2010.

IBM gets airtel’s $1.5 bn contract
IBM gets $1.5 bn contract for managing airtel’s
IT services.
It would manage the operations of company in 16
countries in Africa.
The deal is of 10 yrs
It would integrate the operations across in 16
countries into one.
TCS ,Infosys among Forbes
Asia 50
Infosys,TCS,ITC and Mahindra are among 16
Indian cos named in Forbes’ magazine’s 2010
compilation of Asia-Pacific 50 biggest listed
companies.
India and China account for 32 out of 50
countries in list
Blackberry’s no to intercepting
mails
RIM has refused to provide any technology for
accessing its mail service as sought by
authoroties.
The automation of this process would take about
3-4 months.
Govt is also in process of seeking “lawfull access
to data” from google(gmail) and Skype.
HC refuses to defer Ayodhya case
verdict
The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has
refused to defer verdict in Ayodhya case.
Verdict would be out on September 24,2010.
The special bench of court consists of 3 judges.
