Census Day - Special Lunch Educaterers are providing a special Italian American Diner lunch
menu on Census Day, Thursday 3rd October 2019. The menu is attached at the back of the Newsletter.
Please encourage your child to have a school lunch on this day, as this provides the school with essential
extra funding.
Thank you for your help.
EVERY CHILD ORDERING A LUNCH ON THIS DAY WILL RECEIVE A FUNKY
STRETCHY PERSON! DON’T MISS OUT!
Teddy has been into assembly this week to meet the children and he is also helping 2 children who are finding it hard to come into school.
Teddy is now clever enough to bark on command, so he can answer his name at register time.
He came top of the Class at Puppy School this week for walking to heel. We are very proud of him!
Here is Teddy, with Woody his mentor, on a special visit to School last week.

Family Learning Sessions
Please see the attached information sheet about our next Family Learning Session. This is a copy of the letter sent home earlier this week. Please complete the form
and return to school by 27th September. Please note, this is for Nursery and Reception parents and children only.
We are now collecting the stickers for Aldi Sports Kit for School. You get one for each £30 you spend in-store. We need to collect 300 to be in with
a chance to win £20,000 for sports kit for our school. Please bring them into the school office.
Please ask for your stickers in-store, as they don’t always hand them out.

Look out for further information about joining in with the fun nearer the time. We hope you will help support us to support them!

Start of School —
Reception Classes
We are so proud of our new Reception children, they have settled so well into
Daffodil and Rose classes.
The next step in settling into school life is to encourage them to come into the
classroom independently.
We would like them to be able to hang their coat up, put their
bag away and get ready for the register, so from Tuesday please leave your child at the classroom door!
Thanks for your support in helping your children become independent young people.
