Good Work Certificates
We have attached a copy of the updated “Attendance Information
for Parents” sheet.
A copy was sent home earlier this term.
Attendance continues to be a priority for all children. In
2018/2018 Autumn & Spring term, Warwickshire Primary age
children lost 36,101 half day sessions, due to holiday.
Teddy had his first session at the dog groomers on
Saturday. He had a wash and blow-dry and a little trim around the eyes. He was a
real little fluff ball on Monday!
Teddy has had some lovely pictures and letters from the children over the week. He
has had so many that it may take a while for him to look at
them all!

Scarecrow Festival
We hope you are all having fun making your scarecrows ready
for our Scarecrow Festival on Friday 25th October
after the Harvest Festival assembly. From Wednesday 24th October onwards, come in before school
(after 8.30am) or after school to pick your spot on the school site and install your scarecrow, ready for Friday.
Don’t forget a mallet or wire, to keep it upright!
There will be prizes for the most inventive and
creative scarecrows!
We are still collecting the stickers for Aldi Sports Kit for Schools. You get one for each £30 you spend in-store. We need to collect 300 to be in with a chance to win £20,000 of
sports kit for our school. Please bring them into the school office, or
hand them to your child’s teacher. Please ask for your
stickers in-store, as they don’t always
hand them out.
Aldi Sports Kit
Merharvaan in Foxglove class has been writing letters to Teddy. It is lovely to see the
children so excited about our fabulous school dog.
Thank you, Merharvaan!
Letter to Teddy Flu Immunisations
On Tuesday5th November Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children will have an
opportunity to receive a free flu immunisation nasal spray.
Letters have been sent home this week.
It is important that you return your form to the school office even if you do not consent
for your child to participate.
If you do not consent, feedback is greatly appreciated by the School Health Team as it
gives them parental views and opinions.
All children returning the form either
giving or not giving consent will receive a funky penguin
sticker!
Toys to Stay at Home
Please remind your child NOT to bring any toys
into school, unless asked by the teacher as part of a lesson or prior arrangement with Mrs Hillyard. Thank you!
World Milk Day
Here are some of our children
enjoying their daily milk on World Milk
Day.
We are in desperate need of wellies for Forest School. If you have any wellies that
are now too small for your children we would be grateful if you could bring them in to
school.
All sizes for children from Pre-School to Year 2 will be very
welcome.
Wellies Required!
