Additional stockpile space cleared at the staging area & constructed on the cofferdam. Filled and compacted the scour hole in the downstream, central area of the spillway. WORK IN PROGRESS THIS WEEK: Construction of trenches and sumps to dewater the spillway prior to compaction. Grading and filling the spillway to the specified subgrade. Stockpiling riprap and bedding stone. WORK PLANNED FOR NEXT WEEK: Continue dewatering of the spillway. Compact the spillway to the required specifications and bring it to subgrade.
