AUG 20, 2017Iraqi Military Forces • Iraqi Federal Police with the coordination

of Popular Mobilization Forces were able to liberate Al-Ibrah Al-Sagirah, Al-Ibrah AL-Kabirah, Ibrah Al Hanash and Ibrah Al Najar villages in Telafar district of Ninewa.

• Iraqi Counterterrorism Forces found and cleared an SIED in Telafar west of Mosul.

• Intelligence Forces released a three years old Yezidi child from ISIS in Ninewa province.

• Destroyed three SVBIEDs belonging to ISIS in the outskirts and west of Telafar city. The SVBIEDs used by ISIS to impede the advancement of IMF into the city.

• Were able to liberate Khafajah, Battish, Mazarif, Al Alam, Abu Shakka, Halabiyah,Halawa and Tall Simbak villages in Telafar west of Mosul.

Popular Mobilization Forces• With the help of Iraqi Military Forces

destroyed an SVBIED in Khadra neighborhood in Telafar west of Mosul.

• Found and cleared 64 IEDs on the third day of Telafar offensive in the west and northwest axis of Telafar and Sinjar-Telafar and Mahalabia-Adaya roads west of Mosul.

• With the support of Iraqi Military Forces liberated Al-Noor neighborhood eastern Telafar and Tiniyah village west of Mosul.

AUG 23, 2017Iraqi Military Forces with the support

of Popular Mobilization Forces managed to liberate the villages of Skeikh Ibrahim, Ain Alwah, Hamra Al-Arab, Al-Qashq first and second in Mahalabia sub-district, while in Telafar city the Military controlled Al-Tank and Al-Kifah neighborhoods west of Mosul city.

AUG 24, 2017Iraqi Military Forces • Found and cleared 3 mortar platforms,

50 mortar rounds, a sniper rifle, a BKC and a bazooka in Al-Kifah Al-Shimali neighborhood in Telafar.

• Liberated Al-Noor Al-Ula neighborhood in Telafar west of Mosul.

Popular Mobilization Forces• Cleared Al-Khathra neighborhood from

IEDs and mines planted by ISIS amid advancement of the troops into the city.

• With the help of Iraqi Air Forces managed to liberated Al-Jazira, Al-Nasr, Tal Khirdhir Alyas neighborhoods in Telafar and Qara Tappa village north of Telafar Airport.

Joint Forces liberated Al-Wahda, Tal Khidhir Alyas and Al-Khathra neighborhoods in Telafar city west of Mosul amid the strikes by the Iraqi Air Forces on the areas of the city.

AUG 25, 2017Iraqi Military Forces• Found two mass graves in Badush

sub-district of Mosul which contained 500 remains of ISIS prisoners who were executed by the organization.

• liberated Al-Nidaa neighborhood in Telafar west of Mosul.

Popular Mobilization Forces managed to liberate Al-Uruba Al-Ula neighborhood eastern Telafar city.

Joint Forces liberated the entire Mahalabia sub-district of Mosul while in Telafar the forces managed to recapture Al-Nasr and Al-Tali'a neighborhoods in the city.

Iraqi Air Forces launched several airstrikes which destroyed ISIS dens and a VBIED in Telafar west of Mosul.

AUG 26, 2017Iraqi Military Forces• Liberated Al-Qal'a neighborhood in

Telafar.• Liberated Al-Sada village in Telafar west

of Mosul.

Joint Forces• Found and cleared IEDs, VBIEDs,

Booby-trapping factories, mortars and different types of ordnance in the neighborhoods and outskirts of Telafar city west of Mosul.

• Managed to liberate Al-Qadsiyah Al-Ula, Al-Qadsiyah Al-thanya, Al-Rabi', Al-Bawari, Al-Salam, and Hasan Kawi neighborhoods on the sixth day of Telafar operation.
