Young AdultsThe Young Adult group meets on Tuesday, nights, 7:00 p.m. We are continuing our study “God Will

Make a Way.” This 8-week study will explore how to know God is present & working in our lives, even

in difficult times.. All young adults are invited to attend! For more information about the Bible

Middle School Wednesday NightsParents, we would like to encourage you & your family to attend the Advent services with your

student. Each year our Wednesday night student programming is paused to give you that

opportunity. This Wednesday, November 15 will be the last week of programming of 2017.

Programming will resume on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.

Associate Pastor Call Committee UpdateOver the past two weeks, the Call Committee has had “Meet & Greet” sessions with 6

candidates. Today they will be meeting to determine which 2-3 candidates God has guided

us toward. These candidates will be asked to continue with our call process and are invited

to come to Omaha & meet the church staff & congregation. Thank you for your prayers in

this process. Thanks be to God as He has blessed us with some very qualified, dynamic

candidates. Please continue to ask God for guidance & discernment for both the

committee & for the candidates & their current ministries & families.

Meal MinistryAre you looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity? If so, the meal ministry program is in

need of more volunteers to make or purchase meals & deliver them to those in our church

community who are undergoing surgeries, medical conditions or other times of need.

Whenever there is a need for a meal, you will be emailed. You can view the date &

Church Christmas DinnerEveryone is invited to join us for the Church Christmas Dinner on Sunday, December 10, 6:00 p.m. at

the Oak Hills Country Club. The menu will be Chicken Piccata & roasted red potatoes, Pan-seared

Salmon with a lemon caper buerre blanc & wild rice or Flatiron topped with a mushroom demi-

glace & oven roasted red potatoes. All entrees served with a California vegetable medley, house

salad & rolls with whipped butter. Cost of the meal is $32/per person. Please sign up at the table in

PoinsettiasIt’s time to order Poinsettias to help decorate our church for Christmas!! Cost is $7.00 for a 6-

inch, 5-7 bloom plant. Please use an envelope from the back tables in the Worship Center.

Fill out your name, mark it’s for “Poinsettias” & turn it in either in the offering plate or in the

basket on the fireplace in the front office. The deadline to order plants is Sunday, December

10.

KFX-masBring your whole family to KFX-mas: Emoji Christmas on Sunday, December 10, 6:30-8pm in the life|story

Room at the La Vista site. This is a great family experience with fun, games, and faith time together
