The company’s best-selling tablet model is the 7-inch SinaTab Q7. Marked at only $49 before tax, the SinaTab Q7 has a 5% product return, just minimally higher than the 3% return seen for Apple’s iPads.
3. To fill the price gap in 4G tablets, SinaTab announced last week the company will release an
affordable 7-inch 4G LTE tablet called the SinaTab Z7 on September 20th. Based on current market trends, the average retail price of 7-inch 4G LTE tablet remains relatively expensive, ranging from $300-$500 before tax. The SinaTab Z7 will be marked at $89 pre-tax and and pre-order will begin on September 16th.
4. The new 4G LTE tablet acts as an integrated product between a tablet and a phone. The new tablet is
the first product of this kind, and the first time that such a product is available on Amazon. While all other 4G LTE tablets only allow basic functions such as internet browsing over a 4G Wi-Fi network, the SinaTab Z7 will be the first to allow users to make phone calls on their devices. The SinaTab Z7 will be compatible with GSM carriers such as AT&T and T-Mobile and will be supported on 4G, LTE, 3G and 2G networks.
5. Consumers will be able to obtain the new SinaTab Z7 for even lower prices through promotional
events that the company will be hosting on social media as well as Amazon.com. For a limited time, consumers have a chance to win a free tablet by following SinaTab on Facebook and Twitter where they can participate in the company’s weekly giveaways. The SinaTab Z7 will also be available on the Amazon lightning deal list, and consumers who purchase the Z7 on Amazon may be eligible to receive a rebate by completing an online survey and leaving review comments.
