COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Technical training is ongoing throughout the year and is open to all employees. Hands-on training will be conducted at the Centennial training facility (7000 S. Jordan Road, Centennial CO 80112(. Continuing education for License / Certification will be at the Centennial facility, IECRM Northglenn, and available via online GotoMeeting. Training can be deliver directly to remote operating units (Wyoming,CO Springs, etc.) -- please contact the training department to coordinate dates.
Colorado Electrical License Renewal
WGC is an approved Continuing Education (CE) provider with the Colorado State Electrical Board. All licensed electricians working in Colorado must have 24 hours of continuing education prior to September, 2020. Training will provided to employees at no cost. Initial trainings are after the monthly Field Supervisor meetings held monthly at the Centennial training facility and IECRM in Northglenn starting in October, 2018. More date will be announced as we approach the renewal deadline.
Apprentice Boot Camp (Invitation Only)
Apprentice Boot Camp (ABC) is the final step for an Apprentice to transition from pre-fab to the field. ABC is an immersive three-dayexperience covering conduit bending, rough in, circuits and devices, tools, and skills to succeed in your apprenticeship.
