• Your homeroom teacher will be your advisor for your career portfolio. He or she will check to see if your documents are uploaded.

2017-18 Bell Schedule
• 4-Minute passing; 40-minute lunch• AM BCTC students will receive FLEX
opportunities in 5th period upon their return to the building (11:20-11:52) or placement in LGI/ OC.
• PM BCTC will receive FLEX during the common flex time. Must complete Financial Literacy work to go to OC.
• Early Dismissal/ Modified Schedule awareness

• Must have your ID at all times• Senior: White• Juniors: Red• Sophomores: Yellow• Freshmen: Green• Scanning in and out of OC, LGI,
attendance, library, sign-ups, etc.• $5 replacement fee

• Lunch money to cafeteria in the morning
• Not permitted to take food or drinks from the Cafeteria
• Clean up after yourself• Need your ID, a note, and your
agenda to sign out from the café.

Obligations
All students must have no outstanding obligation to attend major functions of the school. This includes dances, PROM, Class Trip, participation in the Graduation ceremony.

Dress Code
– No tank tops or muscle shirts.– Your stomach, back, and shoulders must be
covered.– Shirts must not be low-cut.– Shorts and/or skirts must touch your fingertips
with your arms fully extended.– Pants cannot be excessively baggy and must be
worn at or above the hips.– Your parents/guardians will be contacted if you
violate these guidelines.
Cell Phones/Devices• You can use your phone or device in the café, during your scheduled
lunch time or open campus.
• Your teachers will have classroom guidelines for phones use/ Phone Caddy for storage.
• Pictures and /or recordings of others without permission is a discipline violation.
• 1st offense - your phone will be confiscated until the end of the day if these guidelines are not followed and detention assigned for not following guidelines.
• Subsequent offenses will require a parent/guardian to pick up your phone/ further consequences.
Absences/ Attendance
- May phone attendance by 9 AM the morning of the absence and Must have a written note from parent/guardian within 3 days for it to be excused
- Must be in school by 10:15AM to participate in after-school activities!
