Student Expectations
A Third Grade Student is expected to:
•Abide by class-generated rules and expectations (classroom constitution!)•Respect other people and property.•Be an active listener. •Engage in lessons and class work at all times. •Self-monitor and carry out all daily routines without reminders. •Maintain appropriate standards of behavior.•Set his or her own goals and strive to achieve them.•Produce high-quality work that is reflective of his or her ability level.
Our Class Clip Chart!• Students begin on “Ready to Learn.” • Can be moved up and down the chart at any time.. • Consequences for Inappropriate Behavior:
• Heading Towards Rock Bottom- Students are asked to reflect back on their
behavior.
• Stung By a Jellyfish- Students must write a paragraph about changing their
behavior
• Caught in a Net- Students fill out a form to be signed by parents.

Motivation)
• All students start at “beginner.”
• Students will move up the chart throughout the course of the year as they continue to set and achieve goals, large and small.
• Students must fill their cards with ten stars before receiving a card on the next level.
