Using E-mail to increase donations.

Through this brief presentation you will be able to utilize a free resource, E-Mail, to increase your donations for your organization.

Did you know that 1/3 of online giving comes from E-mails?

By utilizing E-Mail you can take advantage of free and easy ways to increase your donations.

Did you know that you can have a Missionary Fundraising page at no extra cost?

Welcome E-mail It is always a good idea to send out a “Welcome E-mail” to all donors / givers.

This should be your first step in your online giving.

It is imperative to let the Donor know they can easily and securely utilize the following options for giving:

Via Text to Donate Via Mobile Giving by SCANNING the unique QR-Code Via an Offering Kiosk or iPad at your physical location Via your Continue To Give Webpage Via your organization’s website Via FaceBook (with a “badge” or link to your Continue To Give button) Via Twitter

On the next page is a template for your convenience. Once you have the template designed for your specific needs you can utilize Word to do a Mail Merge with your E-Mail database list.

Thank you for being a vital part of our Church! Without you we could not do the awesome things that we are striving to do in the name of the Lord! We are glad to announce that we have partnered with the Christian based organization, Continue To Give, as our online giving platform. Now you can donate in a variety of ways that are secure and convenient for you, such as Text to Donate, Mobile QR Scan, and our Continue To Give website—just to name a few. Now you will be able to set up a recurring donation for your tithing, or specific projects, whether it is weekly, every other week, or monthly. For a brief video of how to Manage Your Online Giving we recommend taking a few minutes to review the video provided. In addition to the ease and convenience of using Continue To Give (CTG) both the Church and Donors are able to get reports at anytime! Remember to print out your annual giving report at the end of the year, so you can claim this on your taxes. Remember, without your help, we could not succeed at spreading God’s word and helping our community.God Bless,

Example of a “Missionary Fundraiser E-Mail”

Can you imagine wondering where your next meal will come from? Where you will sleep? Unable to learn God’s word? ? I’m proud to announce that we have a team of ten individuals joining me on our next missionary trip. I want to share my previous experience while doing all of the above on a Missionary trip to Haiti a few years ago. Through the last trip, our team was able to spend two weeks reaching out to thousands of Haitians by: First, gain personal enrichment by allowing God to work through us during the trip. Second, through prayer and education we spread the Word of our Lord and open the hearts of those to the message of Jesus. Third, we build the Church of God in Haiti while offering education about the Bible. Fourth, our team works to install and/or upgrade electricity in the buildings mentioned above. Finally, we teach them how to become self-sufficient by making soap, crafts, and art that they can sell to tourists.Your help is direly needed! Because this is a team project, and you are part of the team, we first, and foremost, need your prayers to God to guide us during our Haiti missionary trip. Secondly, any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated, so we can better serve the Haitian community.
