SUNDAY, MAY 22, 2016 | 9 AM WORSHIP Giving Thanks for sixfortyeight “I am the bread of life,” Jesus says in John 6:48, the scripture that gives Harvest’s sixfortyeight worship experience its name. For over five years, sixfortyeight has provided fresh bread for hungry souls in an alternative worship setting. While celebrating how God has worked in people’s lives through sixfortyeight, Harvest’s Worship Design Team has discerned that the time has come to end sixfortyeight as a worship experience. We look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead of us as we explore new seasons and opportunities God is inviting us into as a worshipping community. As we say goodbye to this service, we invite you to join us in celebrating sixfortyeight’s fruitfulness and in praying for what God has in store for the future. The last sixfortyeight service will be Thursday, May 26. Join us that night to celebrate this ministry! O U T P O U R I N GThe outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon followers of Jesus is not confined to the ancient first day of Pentecost or that first generation of those who believed. Every day can bring a fresh experience of the transform-ing power of the Spirit of God in our lives. Dwight L. Moody, reminds us, ”You might as well try to see without eyes, hear without ears, or breathe without lungs, as to try to live the Christian life without the Holy Spirit.”
