Log onto the Huntington School District’s Website at www.hufsd.edu.

On the QuickClicks menu on the top right, click ‘For Parents’ or ‘For Students’ respectively, and then Parent-Portal or Student-Portal.

For Parents, click on “Online Registration”, then enter the School District name and create your account. You will need your child’s 9 digit identification number.

For students, enter your nine digit identification number and then for your password, you will enter the word, ‘guidance’. Shortly thereafter, you will be prompted to create a unique password.

Scheduling for Grade 10

Oct/Nov The 2017-2018 High School Curriculum Guide will be posted on the district website and studentswill meet with their counselor to select courses. Parents should attend!

April Tentative program placements will be made. Refer to the third quarter report cards.

May Course request sheets will become available.

June Final recommendations will be made by teachers and/or department supervisors.

Aug. Schedules will be posted online.

Alternate Pathway Diploma Options and seals

All students must earn a minimum of 22 credits to graduate in various subject areas, as well as pass Regents exams in each subject area (English, math, social studies, and science, plus one pathway assessment in one of the following areas: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), Humanities, CTE, The Arts, or Languages Other Than English (LOTE).

Advanced Regents

Mastery in Math

Mastery in Science

Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Biliteracy

Click on Family Connection under the student tab

HOW DO I REGISTER? Refer to the unique parent code that will be distributed to you

tonight. Student codes will be provided during individual pre-registration meetings (scheduled to begin next month).

Use your code to create your personal account

Codes are random and alphanumeric for security purposes

Access codes can only be used once

When first logging on, enter your code in the ‘New User’ box, then follow the on-screen instructions.

On subsequent visits, sign in with your log-in credentials in the ’Returning User’ box.
