Childcare

If you have need of childcare, we have options available. For children aged birth - Pre-K we have people in place to take care of your children. You will find these age-graded rooms downstairs in our CLC Gym in rooms C104-C107. For ages K through 4th grade, we offer Children’s Church, which meets in room C200. Older children are encouraged to remain in the sanctuary during worship.

Sunday School

We have many Sunday School options available for you from age-graded

classes for children to both Co-Ed and Non Co-Ed classes for all age

groups of adults. You will find information throughout the building

about our different Sunday School classes. We’d love to have you pick

one and jump right in.

Why Attend the Ordinances of the Church? Church 101 Series Selected Scripture

I. Why attend the ordinance of baptism? A. You demonstrate ____________ to the _______ ____________. B. You accept a _____ ________ into the family. II. Why attend the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper? A. It is ___________ by Jesus. B. It is spiritual _______________ in the body and blood of Jesus. C. It is a ______________ of the _______ of Jesus. D. It is an ______________ of the ________ ________ of Jesus.

Today is a special day as we not only continue in our Church 101 sermon series, but we will also participate in the Lord’s Supper. This and Believer’s Baptism are the only two ordinances

that Jesus left with His church. Because of their God-given uniqueness and signif-icance, attendance at these ordinances by Christians is indispensable. God does not call us to do anything that is purposeless or meaningless. If He ordains something, then it is necessary for us to participate in it.

I’ll also add that anything He commands us to do is meant to bless us, for God is good and does good (Psalm 119:68). Not all blessings are recognized in this life or spiritual blessings always felt. Can you be persuaded simply by the Word of God alone that you need the ordinances of God? Today, I invite you to receive the blessing of God that comes through the proper participation in the Lord’s Supper.

New Bible Study Has the time change got you down? Do you want to go

to Bible study on Wednesday night but just don’t like to

drive after dark? Do you have children in school and

have time on your hands? Or would you just enjoy a

morning Bible Study? This new Bible Study is designed

with YOU in mind!

Beginning this Thursday, November 9, at 9:00 am in

Room C200, Bro. Eugene will lead a mid-week study on

the Tabernacle. This will be a very interesting study and

is open to everyone. There are sign up sheets on the

info tables. We would like to know how many are

interested.
