Our containers come in three sizes to meet any and all of your moving and storage needs. Our 16-foot container is the most popular size for both local and long-distance moving. Need more space? No problem – we can provide as many containers as you need to get the job done.

While not required, we recommend that you or someone over the age of 18 is present for the delivery of your container(s) to sign the rental agreement and instruct the driver of the preferred placement of the container.

We recommend you be present for the pick-up of your full container(s). The truck will weigh the container to ensure the container does not exceed the maximum weight capacity. In the event the container is over the weight limit, you must reduce the weight of the container before the driver is allowed to pick it up.

1-800-PACK-RAT will call you prior to deliveringor picking up a full container. In the event that youmiss the call, we will try again. If we are not able tosuccessfully contact you, we may elect to cancelthe delivery and you will need to reschedule basedon the facility’s availability. Please make sure wehave your preferred contact number and that youare available by phone on the day of your scheduledpick-up or delivery.

Our unique lift system loads and unloads your container directly off the back of the truck. This prevents your container from tilting or swaying, which minimizes shifting of the contents inside, but requires a little additional space. Be sure that you have adequate clearance for loading and unloading.

All of the containers on your order will be transported to the destination facility together. Transportation will not begin until you pay the full balance for your container(s).

Deliveries can be scheduled as early as 24 hours after the container reaches the destination facility.

A standard order allocates up to 10 BUSINESS DAYS to transport the container(s) from the origin facility to the destination facility. This process of grouping containers with similar routes allows us to offer you the most competitive prices.

Need it there faster? We offer expedited transport for an additional cost. Have lots of time? If you can give us up to 30 days to transport your container, our flexible transport option can lower your costs. If you are interested in either option, please speak with one of our Move Coordinators.

Your quoted price includes 30 days of rental fees beginning on the initial day of delivery for each empty container.

Rental fees will be charged to the credit card on fille on your monthly anniversary date. For example, if your container is initially delivered on the 12th of the month, the rental fee will be withdrawn on the 12th of the next month. The billing date CANNOT be changed.

Billing will continue every month until the container is picked up and returned to the facility empty.

1-800-PACK-RAT strives to ensure that yourproperty is safely stored and transported. However,unforeseen events might transpire that may causedamage to your property. Content Protection Plans(CPP) are offered to help alleviate anxiety overshipping your valuables.

Transporting Your Container(s)

The Storage Facility Permission Form is required if your container is being delivered to a self-storage facility.

The Gypsy Moth Form is only required for our customers who are moving into California from another state (per California law) or moving from a quarantine area to a non-quarantine area (per USDA).

The Assignment and Assumption Form is required to remove a customer from the account and/or add a new customer to the account.

The Third Party Form allows a customer to add a credit card that is not in the customer’s name to the account.
