Welcome New Facilities at Clays Lane ParkThank you for taking the time to view our proposals for new sports and recreation facilities at Clays Lane Park, Branston.

Branston Parish Council recently gave its support to proposed improvements to these facilities. This consultation provides further information on the proposals.

Your views, local knowledge and feedback are very important to us.

Please take some time to view the other boards on display before completing one of the comment forms and posting it in the box provided.

Background - Land South of Branston

Planning consent was granted last year for:

• A mix of up to 660 three, four and five bedroom family homes in a green setting

• A local centre with community car parking

• Improvement works at Clays Lane Park including a new pavilion, play area and sports pitch

Following consultation, Branston Parish Council wishes to proceed with the improvement works at Clays Lane Park which will be funded by St. Modwen.

An application will be submitted and, if approved, works will commence in Autumn 2014 with completion Summer 2015.

Our Proposals Clays Lane Park Facilities

With no changing or pavilion facilities currently available anywhere in Branston, the proposals will deliver a suite of improvements which would not otherwise be provided.

The pavilion on Clays Lane Park will form part of St. Modwen’s proposals to enhance the Park area, incorporating a new play area and creating a designated sports pavilion for use by local residents and sports teams.
