Welcome

Originally from Belfast, Richard qualified with Honours from

Dundee Dental School in Scotland in 1989 as the highest

placed dental student in the UK for his year. Following

experience working in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

department of Dundee Royal Infirmary, he entered dental

practice in Perth, Scotland and then returned to Northern

Ireland where he owned a surgery in Donaghadee for

12 years before leaving to work in possibly the best

multidisciplinary cosmetic dental practice worldwide -

the dental office of Goldstein, Garber and Salama in Atlanta,

Georgia, USA. Here he gained invaluable experience and

together with visits to the cosmetic dental office of Rosenthal

and Apa in New York City it enabled him to progress his skills

and approach to cosmetic dental care.

After a period working in Paris, France in a dedicated implant

and restorative practice, he returned to Ireland to create

a state of the art practice in Ardara to offer family dental

care and an approach to cosmetic dentistry learned from

his extensive experience that is both unique and exciting.

Richard is a member of the Irish Dental Association and the Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.

Majella is a fully qualified dental nurse from Glenties, Co. Donegal

and is a fantastic addition to our practice. Having gained

her certificate in Higher Dental Nursing from Athlone Institute

of Technology, Co Roscommon she progressed to work in dental

practices in Ireland before moving to work in one of the best

practices in Sydney, Australia where she gained experience

in family and cosmetic dentistry in a truly international environment.

She joins us having come home to Ireland in September 2015

and is dedicated to making your visit relaxed and enjoyable.

Sian is our dental receptionist and brings a wealth of

experience in patient care and treatment coordination

to the practice. She is dedicated to her role in ensuring

everything we do for you before, during and after your

appointment is both efficient and enjoyable. She also

manages the online presence of the practice, responding

to patient enquiries and organising patient referrals.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Your initial consultation for this design process encompasses

an assessment of you as a complete patient, not simply your

teeth. We take into account your unique facial proportions

and study the symmetry of your features before your dental

exam and assessment of your teeth. From there we have a

full discussion with you using digital images of your face and

teeth so we can give you an understanding of the process

involved in achieving the ideal aesthetic outcome.

Our approach which Dr Morrison studied in the USA is unique

to our practice. It enables you to spend time assessing the

appearance of your final outcome of cosmetic treatment

before preparation of your teeth and encompasses not just

the relationship of your gum levels and lips to your final
