Dear children, We are sure that all of you must be enjoying your holidays. You must have started making plans to visit your grandparents, relatives and friends, watching television during the day taking a dip in the swimming pool and joining some activity classes with your friends.We wish that you enjoy every minute of this long break with your family and friends. It will be great if you are able to find time to visit museums and monuments, learn new things, explore new areas near your house, play indoor and outdoor games , read as many story books as you can ,help your parents and grandparents, go for morning walk and play in the park in the evenings during your long summer break. We are giving you a variety of fun-filled activities and worksheets which you can do during the noon time. Do them neatly and submit the worksheets to your teachers after the vacation.

Make a Collage Make a collage on the topic social work: Let’s join the hands and change the world (Which shows the problem of society and how by collaborating with different organizations social work helps help the humanity.) Make Comic strips

Create your own story based on social work helper, write the work done by him /her and how others get influenced by his /her work . Give proper title of your story by creating comic strips.

Read any one of the followings books and make a summary. The Hardy Boys - Hunting for Hidden Gold by Franklin W. Dixon The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain

If you were the author of the book what sort of ending would you have given. Change the ending of the story.

Clean India Drive

Keep your neighborhood clean. Make attempts to keep your vicinity clean while spreading awareness on the same.

Make a magazine using newspaper clippings/Articles/pictures etc. on SWATCH BHARAT ABHIYAAN, Showing various efforts that are being done to keep India clean.

Pass On Torch Of The Education

Find a person in your locality who needs to be educated e.g. Child of your domestic help. Try to educate them and contribute to the society.

Find out about various NGO and social activists who spread education to the needy people in the society. Make a scrap book using relevant data and illustrations.

Conclude your findings using slogans.

Water Conservation In Urban Areas: ‘Play Your Part, Be Water Smart’ .

Water conservation in India is not a new concept.Find out about new ways of conserving water to reduce shortage of water.

On an A3 size sheet, make a collage to conserve Rivers in and around your city. Support your answer with illustrations.

Neatly write a slogan and give at least 2 suggestions of your own to save water.

Adopt A Tree : Tree-Mendous Benefits! .

Planting trees in your neighbourhood helps the entire community. Trees help homeowners, save energy, keep your neighbourhood cooler in the summer, make the area more inviting to walk or bike, and improve the air quality.

So, plant a tree; name it and take care of it.

Find out about people or organization who struggled to save trees in India.

Make a collage on the same on a thick chart paper or prepare a slide show, using relevant illustrations and slogans, highlighting its relevance in the present scenario.
