Joanne Rowling, who goes by the pen name J.K. Rowling, is a British author. Rowling was living in

Edinburgh, Scotland, and struggling to get published before her first book, Harry Potter and

the Sorcerer's Stone, which was published in 1997. The children's fantasy novel became an

international hit and Rowling became an international literary sensation in 1999 when the

first three books of Harry Potter took over the top three slots of The New York Times best-seller list

after achieving.

~ Harry discovers his parents were wizards and that he is famous because he ‘defeated’ Voldemort. ~ He is accepted in Hogwarts the School of Magic And Wizardy were his parents studied. ~ He is the Seeker in Quidditch for his House, Griffindor. ~ Harry finds about the Socerer Stone and its powers and thought Snape wanted to catch it for Voldemort to get back his power. ~ It was really Quirrell who wanted the Stone for Voldemort. ~Voldemort and Harry meet but finally Harry is saved by Dumbledore.

~Ron and Harry lost the train to Hogwarts and go by car to the new course. ~ Malfoy becomes the new Seeker of Slytherin. ~ Mr. Norris appears hanged petrified with a phrase in blood written next to it. ~ Harry discovers he knows how to speak Parsel. ~Harry finds Tom Riddle’s diary and enters into it. ~Harry , Ron and Lockhart enter into the Secret Chamber. ~Harry meets Voldemort, defeates the Basilik and saves Ginny.
