The entire body of this oinochoe - base, belly, neck, rim - is fashioned from a single, rather thick sheet of bronze formed by hammering. The cast handle and the relief head of a satyr were worked separately.

COLOSSAL EARLY ROMAN PORTRAIT HEAD OF A MAN, CIRCA 1ST

CENTURYThe expressive face with Hellenistic influences. The head turned slightly to the right, the eyes deep set beneath down turned eyebrows. The broad forehead, furrowed by five horizontal wrinkles. The hair is rendered by deep, dense incisions that curve over the temples.

ROMAN FLOOR MOSAIC REPRESENTING THE HEAD OF

MEDUSA, CIRCA 1ST - 2ND CENTURYThe expressive head of Medusa occupying the center of this lovely mosaic, although early Greek representations of Medusa emphasized her hideous and monstrous appearance, a human like head of Medusa first surfaced in Hellenistic art and flourished around the time this mosaic was created.

The vase featuring the figure of a pregnant woman, she is wearing a beaded necklace, her arms bent at the elbows and resting at her belly, the legs bent at knees depicting her seated in a squat position.

AN EGYPTIAN BEADED BROAD COLLAR NECKLACE, CIRCA 1353-1335 

335 BC, 1353 BC, 18th Dynasty, Amarna Period, Ancient Art & Antiquities, Ancient Egyptian, Faience, Necklace Re-strung, composed of ancient red colored faience tubular beads interspersed with rounded multi colored faience beads.

CORE FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON, CIRCA 5TH CENTURY 

5th Century BC, Alabastron, Ancient Art & Antiquities, Ancient glass, Core Formed, recent Of dark blue glass matrix with marvered vivid yellow and one turquoise color zig-zag trailing, and plain concentric bands encircling the upper and lower body. Fashioned on a core, with cylindrical body, rounded base.  

4th Century BC, Attic Red-Figure, Calyx Krater Side A, Dionysos surrounded by maenads led by a flying Eros, Side B, three draped youths, egg and dart pattern underneath rim, scrolls below.
