5TH & 6TH GRADE GRADING COMPARISON

5th Grade

• 20% - Homework

• 50% - Assessments

• 20% - Classwork

• 10% - Effort

6th Grade

• 20% - Homework

• 70% - Assessments

• 10% - Class Performance

Example: Suppose a student performed exactly the same in 5th and 6th grade. Let’s see how the grade weighting affects the students average!
