About the S.O.E.
The Survey of Organizational Excellence is an internal employee attitudinal assessment used by state agencies since 1980.
Approximately 120 agencies and institutions of higher education (representing 170,000 state employees) participated in the survey in 2001.

Texas Star Award
The Customer Service Standards Acts provides for the recognition of Agencies through the Texas Star Award.
The Award is presented at the Governor’s Conference on Organizational Excellence.

About This Room
This room holds 200 people and is able to interactively host web broadcast.
There are 5 cameras, several display screens, wireless internet accessibility, and a production media room in the back corner.
During the Presentation For the question and answer
sessions after each presentation, we have set up microphones on both sides of the auditorium. Please approach the microphones to ask your question, as the audio will be recorded on video.
