Thank you for worshiping with us today. Whether you are a member, a

regular guest or a newcomer, we are happy to have you with us. The people

and pastors of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church are committed to meeting you

Care Ministry

Get your flu shot at CVS and donate your $10 gift card to the Care Ministry.

The cards will go to the underprivileged in our community. You may leave

your cards in the church office or contact Harry Drier at 561-601-8211.

Gas card donations are needed to keep the Food Pantry Van moving. You may

send cards to Harry Drier, 5380 N. Ocean Dr. Apt. 6D, Singer Island, FL 33404.

Items needed for the Homeless at St. Ann: shoes, belts, hats, cloth shopping

bags, men’s jeans/pants (sizes 28-38) and ladies pants. Small size toiletries,

band aids, sunscreen, bug spray and vitamins are needed. Please place in the

patio storage room.

We need laptops or iPads for families in transition from homelessness. If you

have one to donate, please contact Harry Drier at 561-601-8211.

There are many volunteer opportunities within the Care Ministry. If you have

time and a passion for giving back your time, please join the Care Ministry team

Soulfire Youth Ministry

Today is CLUB 345: All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade youth are invited to join us for

games, Christmas cookies, and of course, gaga ball!

Next week is the Bake Sale! Help behind the table on Saturday or one of the

Sunday services! We will also be Christmas Caroling from 3:00-5:00, followed

by dinner at HSLC.

December 16 Christmas Play and Christmas Party! Bring a white elephant gift

to exchange!

Our ski trip is coming up! The cost is $250.00 per youth and we are looking for

adult chaperones to help us drive up to Camp Lutherock. Thursday evening,

January 17 - Monday, January 21. Please email Shawn to sign up by December

16th!

Caring Card Ministry

Making cards to send to those who are shut in, grieving, suffering, celebrating

something special or just a note to say “Hello” is what we are all about. If you

are interested, join us and have a creative hour of fun on the 2nd Sunday each

month at 12:15 PM in the Learning Center room 208. Please contact Shonda

7233, [email protected] with any questions. No experience is necessary.

This Sunday our His Kids will be practicing very hard for our

very own Christmas Pageant on December 16th at the 9:30am

service! Come out and enjoy the service and get your heart

melted by these cute little His Kids!

Today, our His Kids will be learning about The Annunciation

after practice from Luke 1:26-38. Our theme will focus on possibilities.

Possibilities for the church and our community on how to help during this

blessed time of year. Read more on how each grade level does this on our

Curriculum board outside the Learning Center.

Daytime Meal Life Group

If you want to be part of a Life Group, there is a wonderful opportunity to meet

for a meal. Join a small group that goes to a restaurant for a meal the first Friday

of every month. The next lunch will be December 7 at 12:30 at Le Metro in

Abacoa, 1155 Main St., Jupiter. Please RSVP by Wednesday to Patti

Thompson at 575-9046.

Order Your Poinsettia Today

You can help to beautify our sanctuary by donating a

poinsettia plant for $20 each. You may donate one or more

plants and designate: In honor of…In memory of…or To

the glory of God. You may take your plant(s) home

following the 11:00 PM Christmas Eve worship service on Sunday, December

24. Please sign up at the Hospitality Center. Make your check payable to Holy

Spirit Lutheran Church and mark it “Poinsettias”.

WAY Ministry Needs Your Help!

WAY is looking for volunteers to help with the Christmas Concert on Sunday,

December 16. If you can help with set up at 12:00 pm, admissions/drawing

table at 5:00 PM, serving food at 5:00 PM, or clean up at 8:30 PM, please

Altar Flowers & Eternal Light

The 2019 sign up is available for the Altar Flowers and Eternal Light. Your

donation of $35 towards each bouquet or $10 towards the eternal light is a

wonderful way to honor someone special or give glory to God. The flowers are

delivered to those who are unwell and unable to attend church.
