SimPad (PLUS) and Link Box (PLUS):

Which version do you have?

SimPad PLUS; Blue mic. button

SimPad; Yello mic. button

Mix and Match Programvare:

• It is now possible to connect a SimPad PLUS to a Linkbox

• It is now possible to connect SimPad to a LinkBox PLUS

Updating the SW on SimPad (PLUS):• Connect the Device to DC or ensure that you have

min. 30% capacity left in the battery• Download the SW from

http://www.laerdal.com/fi/downloads• Connect the SimPad (PLUS) to a PC with a USB cable.• Copy the SW to the “root” of the SimPad

• Ensure the complete SW is copied before you pull out the USB cable

• The update will start automatically when disconnecting the cable and will show in the display for about 10 minutes. The SimPad will start automatically after the update.

Updating the Link Box (PLUS)

• Download the SW from http://www.laerdal.com/fi/downloads

• Connect the Device to DC or ensure that you have min. 30% capacity left on the battery

• Turn on the Device and wait for the two indicator lights to become steady green.

• Insert the USB stick containing only the actual SW. The update will start automatically.

• Wait for the two indicator lights to become steady green. This will take a little less than 10 minutes.

Updating from the embedded function in LLEAP

If you have a PC with LLEAP SW you can update all Laerdal Devices with a LAN cable direct.

•Connect PC and SimPad or Link Boks with an Ethernet cable.

•Start the “Simulator Firmware & Network Wizard”

•Click on “Configure Network or update SimPad / Link Box

Updating from the embedded function in LLEAP

•Click “Upgrade Firmware” and observe the process•First step will copy the SW to the device•Second step is the Update•This process takes a little less than 10 minutes.

1. Open laerdal Simulation home2. Activate Laerdal Patient Monitor3. Click on «Hosted: inactive»4. Create name for your network5. Use SimNetwork or make your own password6. Click start and wait for the network to be visible
