Our Church Family
Wednesday Dinner and Ministries for January through March are sched-
uled for January 13 and 27; February 10 and 24; March 9 and 23. Jim and Betsy
Muir have volunteered to coordinate the dinners for January 27 and February
10. If you are willing to sign up to coordinate 1 (or more) of the 4 remaining
Wednesdays, that would be wonderful! If you are part of a small group and would
like to do this with your group, that would be great too! Once the dates have been
filled with coordinators, a sign-up sheet will be available for volunteers to sign-up
to help. Please call the church office (335-8746) if you are willing to coordinate a
dinner(s)!
Harrington's Hope Care Closet The requested donations for the month
of December are paper towels and “Awesome” brand cleaner. Items may be
placed in or by the cabinet which is located on the west side of the Atrium, near
the Harrington’s Hope office and Music Room.
December is Diaper Donation Drive month. As you shop for Harring-
ton's Hope this month, pick up some extra diapers. The Nestlings ministry, the
first diaper bank of West Michigan, provides over 100,000 baby diapers per year to
low income families in our community. Diapers are a basic health necessity for
babies but are not provided by government assistance programs. You can help by
dropping your diaper donations at the Nursery between now and December 31.
“We as a family wish to say thank you for all your prayers, visits, cards, words of
encouragement, and flowers. Thank you to Pastor Doug and Bart Helmus for
their visits. What a blessing we share to be part of God’s family. We praise our
Heavenly Father for all His goodness and faithfulness to Nick throughout his 95
years.”

Park Prayers
Mary Janet Scholten underwent hip surgery on Tuesday and is now at
Heartland Care facility for rehabilitation. Please pray for her recovery and
healing.
Please pray for the following from the care closet clients: that doctors will
be able to make a definite diagnosis and treatment plan for a client with a
liver issue; for a son to receive spiritual support in the new prison he is
being transferred to; for a client’s car to be repaired; for a client who would
like a restored relationship with her son and extended family—also that she
is adequately teaching her children as she home schools them; for a client
in early pregnancy that her appointment will be positive and go well. Praise
from a client that her husband returned home safely and soon expects to
be a legal citizen.
This week the Park Church family will pray for the families of Sean and
Joanne Schoeppe, Dale and Donna Scholten, Jud and Joyce Scholten,
and Ed and Linda Speyers with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Tennessee.
Call our prayer line at 335-6177.
