Grading Policy• To show competency or achievement of standards– Letter grades (A, B, C, D, or F) – Number grades (5, 4, 3, 2, or 1)
• A~5 high achieving, excellent • B, C~ 4 or 3 well done(B) or passing(C) • D~ 2 approaching grade level, almost passing • F~ 1 not passing, failing.
• Yellow Communication Folders, with Progress Reports – every 4-5 weeks.
• Yellow highlighted grades = grades of concern, not meeting their personal goals, and/or missing work.
• Emailed grades
Schedule• Our day includes:– Computers ( 2 days/week)– PE (3 days/week, with Mile Monday (all 6th
graders))– Reading (every day)– Writing/Spelling (every day)– Math (every day)– Social Studies (4-5 days/week)– Science ( 2 days/week)
Student Field Trips and Academic/Behavioral Requirements
• Please refer to contract received on the 1st day of school– Any Field Trip Form is due 10 days before we
attend.• There are no phone calls home about the missing forms
