My Favorite Things Quilt

How I Created My Kid Pix Quilt

My Kid Pix quilt represents many things I enjoy. To make this quilt I used several different drawing tools from the presentation program, Kid Pix Deluxe Studio. First, I clicked on a tool called an eggbeater. When I selected this tool and clicked in the center of the screen, it created twenty five boxes. I then took the paint can and created a pattern with two colors. I then selected stamps of some of my favorite things. These stamps were edited by me and added to the quilt. By using the “Control” and “Shift” key I changed the sizes of the stamps before adding them to my pattern.

One thing I really enjoy is playing soccer so I picked a small orange soccer ball in the upper left corner of the blue box. I also like Halloween so I made a big orange Jack O’ Lantern. My favorite football player is Tom Brady and he is on the Patriots. He is the quarterback on the Patriots. This is why I put a football on my quilt. I chose a small vanilla ice cream cone, a hot dog, and an ice cream float because they are some of my favorite foods. I hope you enjoyed looking at my quilt.

Winter is Here

My Favorite Sport

My favorite sport’s team is the Boston Bruins. Tuka is a really good goalie. Dad, Heather, Brooke and I like to watch hockey games together. We watch the games in my living room. When they score a goal, we get excited and sometimes we yell!

My Favorite Holiday

Christmas is my favorite holiday. At Christmas, I like to share presents with my family. I give them presents and they give me presents. We always go over to Mimi’s house and stay there all day. We open more presents at Mimi’s house.

My Favorite Season

I like the warm weather in the summer. It is fun to wear bathing suits and jump into the pool. Soccer is a sport I play in the summer, fall, and winter. It is fun to run around and kick the ball with my friends.

My Favorite Relatives

Mom, dad, and my two sisters are my favorite relatives. There are five people in my family. We like to go on vacation and stay at the Red Jacket. I like going on the water slide.
