Important Announcement!
We cannot accept any new membership applications at this time.
● There has been a delay in receiving updated GPA cutoffs from Psych Advising● Without these, as per official Psi Chi requirements, we are unable to determine
if the new members fall within the Top 35% of their class standing● We should be receiving these 2018-2019 GPA cutoffs in the next week or two● We will post on ALL of our social media channels as soon as we receive this info● Once you see that you meet this year’s GPA requirements, come visit us at our
office hours or at our next meeting to officially become a member of Psi Chi

Why Psi Chi?
Mission Statement:Recognizing and promoting excellence in the science and application of psychology.
Why Psi Chi?
Networking: Get to know psychology majors, professors, and psychology people in the community (maybe
for a future job, internship or mentorship).
Resume: It looks really good and shows that you were an involved member of your school and community
(not just a high achieving smarty pants).
Community: Get involved with the community while meeting people and having fun.
Psi Chi provides over $300,550 annually in awards and grants to students… all you have to do is APPLY
And finally, once you’re a member, you’re a member for life!
So how do I join?
F First, you must apply online!

Don’t forget to print it out once you complete it!

● Next, visit us at our office hours or our next meeting with all THREE of these to become a member!
1) Print out of online application
2) Your UCF degree audit
3) Cash or check for $75 dues
What are your dues going towards?
● Induction Ceremony ● Conference Opportunities● SEPA
○ Jacksonville this Spring- we are hoping to take as many members of Psi Chi as we can!
Double check that you meet our requirements!
-Enrolled as a major or minor in a psychology program (or a program psychological in nature)-Have completed at least 3 semesters or equivalent of the college course (36 credit hours… & at least 12 of these should be from UCF)-Have a minimum 9 hours COMPLETED in psychology courses and a 3.0 psych GPA-Meet the current GPA Requirements of being in the top 35% of your class standing (please refer to your OVERALL GPA)*We will let you know the Fall 2018 cutoffs as soon as we get them!
