Let’s Take A Look At Peter Moving

Three Steps Forward

Acts 10:1-61 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

Acts 10:1-63 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

Acts 10:1-65 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

Acts 10:9-199 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

Acts 10:9-1911 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

Acts 10:9-1913 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Acts 10:9-1916 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. 17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

Acts 10:9-1918 And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there. 19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

Acts 10:23-2523 Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

Acts 10:23-2524 And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

Acts 10:23-2525 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

Acts 10:26But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

1.I’m a man just like you

Acts 10:28And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

1.I’m a man just like you

2.I shall not call any mancommon or unclean

Acts 10:31 & 3531 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

1.I’m a man just like you

2.I shall not call any mancommon or unclean

3.God will hear the prayers of any man

Acts 10:34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

1.I’m a man just like you

2.I shall not call any mancommon or unclean

3.God will hear the prayers of any man

4.God is no respecter of persons

Acts 10:42And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

1.I’m a man just like you

2.I shall not call any mancommon or unclean

3.God will hear the prayers of any man

4.God is no respecter of persons

5.God is the judge,not me

Acts 10:43-4543 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

1.I’m a man just like you

2.I shall not call any mancommon or unclean

3.God will hear the prayers of any man

4.God is no respecter of persons

5.God is the judge,not me

6.God will save whosoever believes in Jesus Christ

Acts 10:43-4544 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

1.I’m a man just like you

2.I shall not call any mancommon or unclean

3.God will hear the prayers of any man

4.God is no respecter of persons

5.God is the judge,not me

6.God will save whosoever believes in Jesus Christ

Acts 10:43-4545 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

1.I’m a man just like you

2.I shall not call any mancommon or unclean

Look! Peter Even Stands Up Before The Church And

Elders In Jerusalem

Look! Peter Even Stands Up Before The Church And

Elders In Jerusalem

Acts 15:4-114 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

Acts 15:4-115 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

Acts 15:4-116 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. 7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

Acts 15:4-118 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Acts 15:4-1110 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Galatians 2:12For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.

Galatians 2:14But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

2 Peter 3:9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:10-1110 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2 Peter 3:10-1111 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2 Peter 3:12-1412 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

2 Peter 3:12-1413 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

2 Peter 3:12-1414 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

2 Peter 3:16-1716 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

2 Peter 3:16-1717 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
