Lost or stolen Corporate Cards A new Corporate Card, anywhere in the world

If your American Express Green Corporate Card is lost or stolen, you should report it immediately by calling 01273 689 955, or contacting your nearest American Express office. You will not be liable for any expenditure incurred on the Card after you report it as lost or stolen.

What is more, if you want us to, we’ll send you a replacement Card, anywhere in the world, and at no additional cost.

Access local currency, with Express Cash3

Once enrolled in Express Cash you can use your American Express Green Corporate Card at more than 550,000 cash machines around the world. That means you have ready access to hard cash, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Each week, you can use your Corporate Card and PIN to withdraw up to £500 in local currency, unless your company has set a specific limit.

Earn points with Membership Rewards

Membership Rewards is the employee rewards programme for American Express Cardmembers. Once enrolled, you earn Membership Rewards points for every full pound of eligible spend on your Card. You can redeem these points against a range of goods and services, including flights, hotel rooms, electrical goods, and much more – meaning you can directly enjoy the rewards of increased business spending.

Additionally, Corporate Cardmembers can enrol in one or more of our partner airline programmes. This enables you to earn extra Membership Rewards points when you buy flights with these airlines using your Card. You can also earn frequent flyer points in these programmes – giving you the chance to earn twice the amount of points on a single transaction. And you can transfer your Membership Rewards points into a partner loyalty programme, meaning your rewards tally grows even more quickly

If you have a personal American Express Card that is eligible for Membership Rewards, you can combine both accounts. This ensures your loyalty is rewarded whether you use American Express for business or pleasure.

The Membership Rewards annual programme fee is £30 plus 20% VAT per Card. This fee is waived if you already have an account with American Express in your own name that is enrolled in the Membership Rewards programme.

Please note that enrolment into the Membership Rewards programme is subject to your company’s policy and approval.

• Up to £225,000 travel accident insurance when on common carrier transportation during a business trip

• Up to £225,000 for up to 30 days while on a business trip

An accompanying spouse, whose travel has been paid for on your Corporate Card, also receives travel accident insurance when on common carrier transportation.

Travel Inconvenience Insurance4

When flight tickets are purchased on your American Express Green Corporate Card, you receive:

• Up to £100 for flight delays of more than four hours

• Up to £100 if you miss your connection as a result

• Up to £100 if your baggage is delayed for more than six hours on an outbound journey

• Up to £500 if your baggage is delayed for more than 48 hours on an outbound journey

Peace of mind when travelling

Baggage and Personal Possessions Insurance4

If you use your Corporate Card to pay for travel to destinations outside your country of residence, you will receive insurance cover in case your personal baggage is lost, stolen or damaged.

You receive cover of up to £3,500 (single item limit £480, subject to an excess of £95). This is in addition to the baggage delay cover you receive as part of your Travel Inconvenience Insurance.

Helping you on your way, with Global Assist Service from American ExpressGlobal Assist Service provides 24-hour support, helping you to plan your trip and deal with emergencies while you are away. It is a complimentary service to all Corporate Cardmembers – giving you worry-free travel, courtesy of American Express.

If you have a medical, legal or personal emergency while you are outside the UK, call Global Assist Service for help.

If a member of your dependent family has an emergency while travelling with you, call Global Assist Service for help.

Global Assist Service operates around the clock, on +44 (0)845 456 6524.

Services include:

• A fully-qualified English-speaking doctor on hand to provide advice, if you have a medical problem. And if you need to see a doctor, dentist, or optician, or visit a local hospital, Global Assist Service can provide names, addresses and telephone numbers from a network of carefully-selected contacts.

• Inter Partner Assistance can arrange hospitalisation, a doctor’s visit, and an advance of medical expenses up to £250.

• Global Assist Service will relay up to two messages to relatives or business associates, letting them know what is happening to you.

• Global Assist Service can put you in touch with the relevant embassy or consulate, provide the name of a local lawyer, and advance legal fees of up to £250 in case of legal difficulties.

• You can be advanced up to £250 if your money is lost or stolen, and no other means of obtaining cash is available.

Global Assist Service does not charge to make any of these arrangements. Cash advances, medical, shipping and other costs are charged to your Corporate Card, so approval will be sought prior to making an advance or incurring costs.

Your American Express Green Corporate Card uses Chip and PIN technology to enhance security and convenience. Once you have activated your Card, you can personalise your PIN at any UK LINK ATM offering PIN services.

If you enter an incorrect PIN three times, your Card will be temporarily locked. If this happens, contact us for a PIN reminder. Use this to unlock your Card at any UK LINK ATM that offers PIN services, by following the on-screen instructions.

Remember to keep your PIN secret, and to sign the signature strip on the back of your Card. When using your Card to make purchases abroad, you might be asked for your signature, rather than entering a PIN.

If your Card is lost or stolen, or you believe someone else knows your PIN, contact us immediately on +44 (0)1273 689 955. We will issue a new Card or PIN, depending on the circumstances.

When purchasing goods and services by phone, mail or online, provide only the 15-digit number on the front of the Card, and the security code, if requested. You should never be asked to reveal your PIN when making a remote purchase.
