Children’s Liturgy of the Word is back. On Sunday, January 9, 2022 We will resume Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 9:00am/English Mass and the 1:00pm Spanish Mass. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is for children 5 years old and up. We ask that all children and instructors wear a mask.

Declan was a beloved priest who brought Alpha and the ACTS ministry to our parish (as well as many other contributions) The mass will start @ 12pm. January Confirmation Class Dates
January 10th and 11th January 24th and 25th Mass Attendance for each class In hopes of connecting our Confirmation experience with our Mass experience, we will be asking students in 2022 to consider attending Mass with their Confirmation class. Please keep an eye out for your student’s month of participation.

Teens, we it would be great to have you lector or usher. Talk to your teacher about how you can sign up.
Christmas is one of the most important days of the Church year, second only to Easter itself. It
is the feast of God becoming man. It is a uniquely Christian teaching, the Divine choosing to
become one of us. Because of this belief, God is not only Transcendent, but also wholly
Immanent, Emmanuel (God-with-us). The liturgical season of Christmas begins with the vigil
Masses on Christmas Eve and concludes on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. During this
season, we celebrate the birth of Christ into our world and into our hearts and reflect on the
gift of salvation that is born with him, including the fact that he was born to die for us.
The Christmas tree and the Nativity scene are popular symbols of the season and a tradition in many Christian homes. It is also
traditional to exchange Christmas gifts with family and friends to honor God the Father's gift of his only son to the world. Having
received the gift of Christ, we naturally want to pass that gift along to our loved ones.
I pray this Christmas season will be an experience of giving and receiving Love for you and your family. Merry Christmas!
