EASTER CAMP AT WEYMOUTH April saw the unit pack up their bags and clamber into mini buses and travel down to SCTC Weymouth—now famously known for it's part in the London Olympics and Paralympics 2012! 26 cadets and 6 staff made the journey and they took part in a fun packed week of activities including sailing, pow- er boating, rowing and climbing. With the juniors visiting the local fort! A return trip is planned for Easter 2013, so it must have been good!! In April the Royal Marine Cadets also had an opportunity to go on Easter Camp. They stayed at Beckingham Army Camp and took part in numerous Field exercises and did some drill practice in readiness for the dedication of the new Colour in September. This was followed by Summer Camp, also at Beckingham Camp—again lots to learn and loads of fun. The staff and cadets all had a great time and are looking forward to next year!
