Welcome to the Broome County Wegmans Passport to Family WellnessThis booklet describes nine trails within Broome County. TheCounty offers a variety of locations for outdoor exercising:running, walking, bike riding, boating, X-country skiing androllerblading. Have fun sampling the suggested routes in thepassport and join the millions who have made outdoor activity a part of their healthy lifestyles.

Visit the wilderness areas, streams and wetlands. Enjoy camp-ing, the beach, picnic facilities and playgrounds. We are veryproud of our parks and trails. This Passport is designed to helpyou discover what’s available right in our community.

As you traverse each trail, record your visit in your WegmansPassport by using a pencil or crayon to make a rubbing of thedesignated marker. Complete four trails to receive a couponredeemable for a Wegmans product. Complete eight trails andbe entered to win the Grand Prize: $100.00 Wegmans gift cardand a free lodge rental at Otstiningo Park in Binghamton for apicnic with your friends. You do not have to complete your trailvisits in one year to be eligible. The winner of the $100 gift cardwill be chosen every year in early August.

Please observe posted regulations on all trails. Be sure tobring water, insect repellent, and first aid equipment, wearappropriate clothing and footwear, and notify a relative orfriend of your plan.

Broome County Parks and Recreation is a regionally basedparks and recreation system serving a population of over200,000 people. This system includes an eighteen hole golfcourse, three beaches, a campground, a performing artstheater, a 7200-seat arena - with professional AHL Hockey,cross-country skiing, swimming, boating, professional hockey,and many other leisure activities.
