Dear People of Holy Family, St. Mary’s and St. Anthony’s:
ANNUAL APPEAL
As we know already it is our responsibility to reach our goal on our annual
appeal. I really appreciate you all for supporting our diocese through the appeal.
The annual appeal money is used for various ministries and missionary works in
various countries. It supports the seminarians and priests and the Diocese. It also
supports the poor people and the people those who are affected by the natural
calamities and disasters. We have not reached even the half way, so kindly
support to reach the GOAL.
THANK YOU
I thank you for your wishes and prayers on my birthday. I conveyed to my parents that I had a good time
with the people. I have sent some of the pictures to my family and they were really happy to hear about
how you take care of me here in Wisconsin. They are really excited of my arrival back to INDIA in the
month of May. Kindly keep me and my family in your valuable prayers. Once again, thank you all.
THE BIBLE CHALLENGE
God is doing wonder in our community. I am happy that it worked well. I am receiving a lot of positive
feedback. So still you have one more week to complete the answer sheet. Even if you fail to complete,
kindly bring back ON OR BEFORE PALM SUNDAY. It will help me to understand how much efforts
you have taken on the project. Anyway, God will be very happy that we read and meditate on His words
in this Lenten season.
WORD OF APPRECIATION
We appreciate our family life committee and the people those who support the event ‘Celebration of Life:
saving life through blood donation’.
God bless you all, Fr Leo Johnson Stanislaus
The Joint Family Life Committee sponsored Celebration of Life event held at St. Mary's Parish on March
23, 2019 was a huge success! Maybe not considered a success in the total participant turnout, but rather a spiritu-
al success in that those who attended the presentation have had their hearts touched in a way that will not soon be
forgotten. We collected 20 units of whole blood. Special gratitude must go out to St Ann's Society, St Anthony's
PCCW, Peggy Jackson and her piano students Olivia and Tysen, Fr Leo, Versiti Blood Center staff, speakers Judy
and LouAnne, and many other volunteers who donated their time in working in the kitchen, baking, and clean-up
(Audrey, Betty, and Joyce), as well as the dedicated Family Life Committee members who put their hearts and
souls into the event. This special event honoring those who save lives through blood donation was truly a testa-
ment to discipleship of Jesus, who gave His blood so that we may have eternal life. Thank you so much for shar-
ing of personal stories, work of hands, and fellowship as the body of Christ in our communities, God bless each
and every one of you involved in this event and all who have donated blood at any time; your donation is vitally
important and humbly appreciated by all who benefit from transfusions and similar products. I would like to per-
sonally thank the Family Life Committee members who truly follow the footsteps of Christ - Kerri Schuette, Mary
Ellen Volovsek, Deb Ortner, Barb Sladich, Keith Volovsek and Father Leo. It has been a privilege serving with
you in this ministry! Respectfully submitted by Candy Strey

Chaplet of Divine Mercy. From 1931 – 1938 Our Lord
revealed the secrets of his great mercy to Saint Faustina. He
designated the first Sunday after Easter as the Feast of the
Divine Mercy to God. In preparation of this feast, he asked
that a novena be started on Good Friday, a novena which
asks for prayers, each of nine days, for a different group of
souls, in order to immerse them in the sea of God’s Mercy.
Confession is required on the day of or two weeks before or
after this feast, and Communion is required on the day of the
feast. Our Lord promised to the souls who follow these
requests a complete remission of sin & punishment.
Pamphlets are in the back of the Church.
