Mission STATEMENTMission STATEMENTThis year, the Grover C. Fields Middle School Band

will achieve a higher standard of performance through attentive and courteous rehearsal procedures and

daily home practice. The Band will perform challenging and entertaining music for their Christmas

and Spring Concerts and will participate in district festival, receiving a rating of Superior or Excellent in

Grade II or higher music. We will have students participate in All County Band, Solo and Ensemble

Festival, All-District Band auditions. We will measure our results using performance testing rubrics and

stakeholder surveys. Working together we will try to meet the state mandated goals for instrumental music

education.
