A library can be a building or a special room in a building. Or, a library can be a website or place on the Internet. What is a library ? A library is a special place for students and people who love reading.

The library has information in many forms. For example, the library has books. What is in the college library?

For example, there are dictionaries. There are many different kinds of books in the college library.

There are story books, also called graded readers. T here are encyclopedias.

Just to name a few. There are travel books, computer books and art books.

We call these E-Books. You can read some books directly on a computer.

No ! There are many other things in the college library. But, are books the only things in the library?

It has newspapers. It has maps. The library has magazines.

The library has CDs. The library has special academic kits for teachers and students. The library has DVDs.

Of course, you can read and study. Also, you can use a computer. What can you do in the library ?

You can listen to a CD. Or, you can make photocopies & scan something. You can watch a DVD in the library.

The college library has a website you can use in the library or from home. There are online dictionaries, encyclopedias, magazines & many other things.

Do not shout or call your friends across the room. First of all, please be quiet in the library. Next, please do not use mobile phones in the library.

Mice and bugs will come to the library for food and sugar. Please do not eat or drink in the library.

Finally, remember to take your books, folders and pencils when you leave the library. Please, put rubbish in the bins.
