COLIGAÇÃO ECUMÉNICA (UNITED INTERFAITH ACTION)

A Coligação Ecuménica (United Interfaith Action) reúne vinte igrejas em Fall River e New Bedford. A paróquia do Santo Cristo tem participado ativamente nesta coligação desde 1999. A mesma advoga importantes questões sociais, tais como: trabalhar pela justiça e aumentar a participação dos cidadãos.Tem tido sucesso na expansão de programas extra-escolares para jovens e em garantir fundos para programas de treino para emprego de adultos, aumento do ordenado mínimo a nivel Estadual, etc, etc.

Próximo fim de semana, haverá venda de rosas de ceda à saída das Missas. O donativo é de $1.00 por cada. O lucro destina-se ao ✍✎✏✑✒✏✓✔✓ ✕✔ ✖✕✗✕✘✓ ✙✓ ✚✛✙✓✜.

ROSARY SODALITY MAY: THE MONTH OF MARY

This Tuesday at 7PM, the Holy Rosary Sodality invites all members for the recitation of the Rosary in the Chapel.

UNITED INTERFAITH ACTION

The United Interfaith Action (UIA) is a coalition of twenty churches in Fall River and New Bedford. Santo Christo has been very active in UIA since 1999. UIA advocates for important Social teachings such as working for justice and expanding citizen participation. It has been successful in expanding after-school programs for children, preserving funding for job training programs for adults, the minimum wage campaign, etc, etc.
